Ask for Specific Actions

For example, “Will the [Representative/Senator] make a public statement against these annexation efforts?” or “Will the [Representative/Senator] support legislation to prohibit funding for any annexation?”

Thank Them

Always close with a “thank you,” even if you disagree with their current stance.

“I’m calling to express my strong opposition to any effort by the United States to annex or invade other countries, specifically neighbors like Canada, Mexico, or territories such as Greenland.”
“I believe that any move to forcibly annex another sovereign nation or territory goes against international law, harms our global reputation, and jeopardizes the safety and livelihoods of ordinary people—both here in the U.S. and abroad.”
